Your Vision - Our Mission
We believe in making your dream a reality. Our passion is for creating beautiful, sustainable timber buildings and joinery products that work for our clients, and for the environment. Our knowledge and expertise allows us to think and build outside the box.
DESIGN
Full, integrated planning service
Our in-house design service is fully integrated with our construction department, resulting in designs that are fully workable and cost-effective. We work with clients, structural engineers and architects, as appropriate, to turn your vision into full ready-to-use plans for projects of all sizes.
BUILD
Bringing plans to life
Whether you need a main contractor to project manage your build or a subcontractor to build and erect a frame, we can help. We use our own specialist timber frames (both contemporary and traditional) and SIPs construction systems to realise projects of all sizes – from an off-grid eco-cabin to a 100+ capacity public venue.
We combine years of building experience with a personal and professional approach.
Sustainably-Sourced Timber
We build primarily with Douglas Fir. This natively grown timber is a perfectly regenerative building material, and offers exceptional strength and a beautiful finish
Environmentally-Conscious Materials
Wherever possible, we use eco-friendly products such as strawbale, sheepswool and lime render. High-performing materials that result in wonderfully warm buildings
Outstanding Client Satisfaction
Our goal is to create the building that you want, exactly as you envision it, while also ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget to make your vision a reality
Pencedni House
A traditional timber-frame house, designed and built for our friends. As a permanent dwelling for their One Planet Development, the building had to meet stringent standards in sustainability.
Ty Sanctaidd Roundhouse
A unique 20m diameter ammonite-shaped building, incorporating an incredible 12m clear span in the central room. A truly stunning structure that nestles elegantly into its beautiful coastal surroundings.
Horeb Chapel
Conversion of a 19th century Welsh Chapel. In collaboration with architect Tim Colquhoun, the timber frame sensitively transformed the space into a comfortable family home full of charm and character.
Makers Mark Joinery expertly designed and constructed our timber frame straw bale roundhouse, perfectly suited to its coastal location. Their commitment to utilizing environmentally sustainable materials, in conjunction with their collaboration with local tradespeople, resulted in a visually stunning and structurally sound building. Exceptional craftsmanship.
Makers Mark Joinery exceeded our expectations with their fantastic craftsmanship, timely delivery within budget, and sensitive approach to working with the existing space. The beautiful timber frame they installed perfectly divided the downstairs room and supported the first floor. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product.
